Our Focus
As we, and our loved ones, grow older and wiser with time, the care we receive should also grow wiser, and should be catered to meet our individual and specific health care needs. For many, there are multiple health care concerns that must be addressed in one visit. Geriatric Resources understands that these health care complexities require specialized care plans to appropriately treat the needs or concerns of our patients. Our goal is for our aging population and their families to embrace growing older gracefully, and with the peace of mind required to live the highest quality of life possible. Geriatric Resources plans to achieve this goal through ongoing specialized treatment, appropriate care referrals, and proactive guidance and participation in the care planning process. Our treatment model represents a braid, addressing mind, body and spirit, all woven into a tailored, yet, flexible plan of care.

Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, Certified Geriatric Care Manager
Maureen Poe is a Board Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Certified Geriatric Case Manager. Her passion is caring for the fragile needs of our aging community. Mrs. Poe serves as a collaborative nurse practitioner as well as a primary care provider. Through her compassionate approach, she thoroughly assesses the needs of her clients and provides individualized treatment which also aims to enhance quality of life.
Mrs. Poe maintains multiple collaborative relationships with many other respected physicians in our community. For these physicians, she is a trusted resource in helping meet the needs of their clients. Mrs. Poe believes in direct lines of communication with all care providers involved, to ensure the most definitive information is readily available about their clients, enabling them to make the best treatment decisions available. As a primary care practitioner, Mrs. Poe practices this same philosophy to provide the best treatment and plans of care for her clients.
